Beauty: Sweet Lil’ Feet

Today the sun is shining. Yesterday it shone as well. Friday was incredibly hot, but for some reason Saturday it decided to rain. Saturday though, was one ‘fail’ of a day out of a handful of glorious ones, which means I am deducing that it is time to get my feet ready for thongs! They need a bit of work. Thankfully, winter means your feet are usually snuggled up inside some kind of warm casing, meaning they don’t usually get rough and dry, and the nights are often cold enough so you can easily sleep with socks on, meaning you can slather your feet up in cream and let them drink it up while you snooze.  But now that it is time for thongs, your feet are going to take a bit of a thrashing. This is when they get dry, so remember to religiously scrub and rasp them to remove any dead-skin-build-up. Another thing you’ll want is a pretty little pedicure so your wee tootsies will look all pretty once on display. So have a look below at all the ‘feet treats’ I have for you this week!

About Romy Grbic

Romy Grbic is Trespass Magazine's Auckland-based Beauty and Style Editor, and was always the kid with the ‘wacky’ parents. This used to be slightly embarrassing when bringing friends home from school, but has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The 24-year old writer/beauty therapist, living in a house with optimal feng-shui, seems to be following in the footsteps of her slightly alternative parents and carving a road uniquely her own. One leading to self-sustainable living on a large farm with a big organic vegetable garden, and a very large makeup kit and wardrobe. With a diploma in beauty therapy and a degree in sociology, Romy has taken her passion for learning, pretty things and writing and combined them into one, by creating her own website (www.onefabulousday.wordpress.com) on which she blogs optimistically, in the hopes of making the world a better place, both aesthetically and environmentally.
