Trespass’ first official beauty video!
Welcome! As you can see from the video, today I braved the elements (my laptop and your piercing eyes) and exposed my face sans makeup, au naturel, in a bid to teach you, my avid little beautyaholics, how to perfect a flawless day makeup. Each week, I’ll post a new video, where we’ll have a look at different products, styles of makeup and even a few industry secrets. Watch and learn, my lovelies. If you have anything in particular that you would like me to address, feel free to flick me an email at: romy@trespassmag.com.
This week, we learnt how to perfect the ‘au naturel’ look. These are the products I used:
Base: Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Bronzing Powder, RRP $60
Eyes: Avon Ultra Luxury Eye Liner in Black, Covergirl Lash Blast Length Mascara in Black, RRP $21.99 and Benefit Bad Gal Blue Mascara, RRP $36
Lips: Strawberry Chapstick
About Romy Grbic
Romy Grbic is Trespass Magazine's Auckland-based Beauty and Style Editor, and was always the kid with the ‘wacky’ parents. This used to be slightly embarrassing when bringing friends home from school, but has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The 24-year old writer/beauty therapist, living in a house with optimal feng-shui, seems to be following in the footsteps of her slightly alternative parents and carving a road uniquely her own. One leading to self-sustainable living on a large farm with a big organic vegetable garden, and a very large makeup kit and wardrobe. With a diploma in beauty therapy and a degree in sociology, Romy has taken her passion for learning, pretty things and writing and combined them into one, by creating her own website (www.onefabulousday.wordpress.com) on which she blogs optimistically, in the hopes of making the world a better place, both aesthetically and environmentally.
I really enjoyed watching this video, and definitely learned some things. Still finding it hard to throw away the 10-ish year old mascara though! Cheers, Grace x
Romy, you’re gorgeous, as usual. This video is a must for my little “blossoming” cousins back home in England. Great to see “Koiwoi gulls” making their voices heard in fashion. More I say, more!

Lovely work, Romy! Simple and effective with a bit of pop for every day.
It would be great if you could work on improving the sound in future videos – all the better to listen and learn!
