Fit for a Queen

It’s Saturday morning, and all that stretches ahead of us (here in NZ anyway) is the promise of a lovely, long weekend. Thank you Queen E, for having a birthday. I’m not sure if this Monday is actually the Queen’s Birthday, but we sure will celebrate it. And we’ll do it in style. This weekend, I think we should all rug up, (it is rather chilly) and pamper ourselves in true Queen style. So, I have traipsed and trawled for only the crème de la crème of Queen-y products that will have you swooning and wishing for more rainy, chilly long weekends.

Heated slippers? Yes please!

Start your pampering ritual by soaking in a warm bath. Can’t really complain.

After your bath, moisturise with LAVENDER (of all fragrances) body oil. You’ll be so relaxed.

Now get your feet all sparkly and shiny and pretty.

Don’t forget to cream up your face – moisturisation is key to youthful looking and feeling skin.

If you feel like a little spritz of lavender, just go for it. Face mists are great for keeping you hydrated anytime, anywhere. Especially if you work in air-conditioned surroundings.

Once you’re pampered out, you may need a little rest. Pop this puppy on your eyes and take a nap. You deserve it.

About Romy Grbic

Romy Grbic is Trespass Magazine's Auckland-based Beauty and Style Editor, and was always the kid with the ‘wacky’ parents. This used to be slightly embarrassing when bringing friends home from school, but has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The 24-year old writer/beauty therapist, living in a house with optimal feng-shui, seems to be following in the footsteps of her slightly alternative parents and carving a road uniquely her own. One leading to self-sustainable living on a large farm with a big organic vegetable garden, and a very large makeup kit and wardrobe. With a diploma in beauty therapy and a degree in sociology, Romy has taken her passion for learning, pretty things and writing and combined them into one, by creating her own website (www.onefabulousday.wordpress.com) on which she blogs optimistically, in the hopes of making the world a better place, both aesthetically and environmentally.
