I agree, Liv. There's nothing wrong with dressing up as a kid, provided it's all in play. Part of what the big debate about sexualising childhood misses at the moment is exactly what you've put your finger on: kids want to imitate adults and teenagers, and while there's a certain awfulness to marketing companies playing into that with lipstick etc aimed at little girls, most of them still look on it as dressups. Who knows - maybe Noah chose her own outfit to try and copy her big sister, or someone she saw on TV, or her mother, or something like that. But even if she lacks total awareness of what all the fuss is about, her parents shouldn't.

It took me a few minutes of staring at the screen to get you're referring to the tea in my bio haha. Ah, I (rather grossly) drink it cold. Or pop it in the microwave, I know, ew.

Re my point, I guess what I'm trying to say (perhaps not as successfully as I'd have liked) is all kids dress up and wear make up and do things we're too young for, like Noah Cyrus, but that's where our parents step in and place boundaries and provide explanations as to why we can't do certain things and dress certain ways. I'm thinking the Cyrus parents probably didn't do that here.

Who drinks the tea that the empty teacup had in it - the cat? Or do you just drink it cold?

Nice article. I'm not quite sure what the point is, though? I like the style however/
