Darling, you are singing my song. One of the best things you can do in life is have boundaries – in fact, just today, I was inspired to write a post about this very topic. I have always been the giving type who helps with everyone’s problems. No sirree, not anymore! Sure, I will still give to those I choose, but I’m not here to be exhausted by everyone elses crap, and it’s about time I starting giving more time to me. I learnt this all a while ago, but as women, we tend to lose sight and get lost sometimes. Today, I was reminded of how many fabulous things are happening in my life, and how I must refocus on what’s important – my writing! No time for ball breakers or energy zappers darling. You choose who you want to give of yourself to – it’s not selfish, nor arrogant. As I always say, it’s VIP entry only onto my red carpet. X

Hey Sandi, been thru this too. Everything seems a little worse when you are planning a wedding too (as I have been thru this in 08) sometimes the little things get so frustrating. I remember crying about a wedding car, and also when my dress get a stain (UNFIXABLE ARGH even with dry cleaning, so they had to sew matching lace onto it to HDE the friggin stain they caused)
BUTTTTTT, it was alright on the night baby!
People forget that brides feel like they are running the 3 ring circus, and juggling (balls) and at the moment, they feel like they are all up in the air. BUt, it will all be OK. Find a little quiet time at a park in Melbourne switch off the phone, and temporarily disable your voicemail for a few hours. Go for a walk with your beautiful fiance. Good luck with it all
